ABOUT US
Modo Italia (Modernism Original Design Only) was born out of an idea by Filippo Di Paola, a professional and passionate collector of the XX Century Italian Design Furniture, who has worked in this sector since the early 90s.
Modo Italia specializes in XX Century Italian furniture, ceramics and art. Exclusively authentic and representing Italian creativity of the XX Century.
Our archive includes hundreds of Italian books of the age. A great resource to help understand and inform our collectors, interior designers and private clients.
Modo Italia has its stock based in London and Italy: Gio Ponti, Paolo Buffa, Osvaldo Borsani, Venini, G.Ulrich, Piero Fornasetti, Willy Rizzo, Rometti, Richard Ginory, represent some of the more well-known designers.
Most of our furniture was designed and used to furnish Italian and foreign villas and boutiques, many of which have been published in notable magazines. Certain pieces from our private collection have been lent and continue to be shown at exhibitions and museums.
